JOHN O’HARA is a Philadelphia based actor, director and playwright who has written over 70 plays. Some favorite titles include 12 CHAIRS, KEN AGAIN, PURSUED BY A BEAR, RENEWAL, A THOUSAND FIREWORKS and S N A P as well as 30 scripts written during his tenure as the resident playwright at Theatre Arts Center.
John’s plays have been produced by Walnut Street Theatre, Playcrafters, Dutch Country Players, ACT II Playhouse, Juniper Productions, ReVamp and SALT Theatre, with readings at The Arden Theatre Company, among others. He is grateful to the theaters that have provided him with space for readings including the Wilma, People’s Light and Actor’s Chapel, Manhattan. Six of his plays are represented by Playscripts.
